Outer Space

In 2019 I took up woodburning as a change of pace from all the various digital illustrations I do.
My initial works were simple zen exercises on scrap pine, but eventually I settled into
doing these outer space works which I colored with green and light brown wood oil.
After using birch rounds on an unrelated project, I switched to using them for these
outer space pieces as well.

The rounds were done on birch approximately 7cm in diameter, and the others are done
on pine in various sizes, but generally about 10cm for the narrowest dimension.
